The Band

Atlanta. Since 2019.

In 2019, Adam Edwards and Jack McWhorter formed the musical project that would come to be known as Kaydelis in the classrooms of their high school. Six years later, the group has grown to include Martin Rodriguez on guitar and Stan Kiklica on keys and saxophone, and has released three full-length records and a number of singles. The Atlanta-based project mixes psychedelic pop with the sounds of the electronica movement of the early 2010s to create a dance-oriented soundscape, accented by introspective lyrics meant to invoke self-reflective attitudes.

Three albums in, most recently 22b. They've played sold-out rooms across the Southeast and are tracking their fourth at 30Foot Studios, the room they built themselves.

The sound is drifting into hazier territory now. Dream-pop in the Beach House lineage, slower and more atmospheric than the early work, the psych-pop heart still underneath everything.

Kaydelis. Atlanta four-piece.
